Privacy and cookies
This notice explains how MBE Glazing Systems Ltd handles personal information sent through this website and how the current website uses cookies or similar browser storage.
Controller / contact
Who is responsible.
The website is operated by M.B.E. GLAZING SYSTEMS LIMITED. MBE's registered office is Unit 21, Woodman Works, South Lane, Elland, HX5 0PA. MBE's ICO registration number is ZB312790.
For privacy questions or rights requests, contact the IT Manager by email at sales@mbeglazing.co.uk, or write to Unit 21 Woodman Works, South Lane, Elland, Halifax, HX5 0PA.
What the website collects.
If you use the enquiry form, MBE asks for your name, email address, telephone number, project type, project location or postcode, estimated timescale and message. Company name is optional. MBE uses this information to review the enquiry, begin a quotation conversation and respond directly.
The form does not accept uploads. To send drawings, schedules or photographs, email them to sales@mbeglazing.co.uk. Telephone enquiries may be recorded as internal notes in MBE systems so the team can respond and manage the request.
Cookies and browser storage.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, referring websites and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to work without visitor profiling, advertising cookies, localStorage or fingerprinting. Standard hosting, analytics and security services may still process technical request information, such as IP address, user-agent and request time, to deliver, measure and protect the site.
If the optional designer is enabled, the browser stores a draft configuration and project context in sessionStorage under mbe-design-v2. This helps the designer keep the current draft during the browser session. Contact details are not written to that draft storage and are only sent to MBE if you submit an enquiry.
If MBE later adds advertising, remarketing, cookie-based analytics, maps, embedded media, live chat or similar third-party tools, this notice and any required cookie-consent controls should be updated before those non-essential tools run.
How enquiry information is handled.
Website enquiries are routed to MBE's sales team. MBE may use hosting, email, mailbox, CRM, security and backup providers that act on MBE's instructions to operate the website and manage enquiries.
MBE keeps enquiry information for as long as needed to respond, manage the project relationship, keep business records, protect the website and meet legal or regulatory duties. Information that becomes part of a customer, contract, project or accounting record may be retained for longer than a general enquiry.
Your rights.
You can ask MBE to confirm whether it holds personal information about you and, where applicable, ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. MBE may need to check your identity before acting on a request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. The ICO website is ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
